Wayne Turner graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA in science and earned his fifth year and teaching certificate from Portland State University.  Mr. Turner taught Bible, science, and literature to 7-12th graders at Columbia Christian Academy in Portland for two years.  He then spent 28 years at Hillsboro High School in Oregon, where he taught biology, chemistry, physical and integrated sciences, and advanced biology (environmental science and biotechnology).
