Helen Solem graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Speech Communications.  She is currently working on her Master of Theology degree from Liberty University.  An avid  runner, Mrs. Solem has finished eight marathons.  She teaches aerobic fitness at CWU, and, as a military wife, has moved twelve times while homeschooling her five children.
