Scientific Observation

Class Meets: Thursdays, 12:30-1:30pm
First Semester
In this course, students will be observing and collecting data on the life cycle of a specific organism, a milkweed bug, as well as looking at the life cycles and the biotic and abiotic interaction in an ecosystem. Students will collect data and learn how to create a hypotheses based on the data.

- Yellowstone
- Saguaro National Park
- Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary
- Monongahela National Park
- Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve
- Florida Keys National Park
- El Yunque Caribbean National Forest
- Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area
- Cimarron National Grassland
- Olympic National Park
