Movie Literature

Grades: High school (college prep)

Class Meets: Thursdays, 9:30-10:30am

  • High School, full year
  • This Full-year class combines movie classics with analysis and writing skills. Every 2 weeks, students will watch a movie classic, then develop writing and analytical skills through specific, focused assignments. Topics include "Uncovering the Plot", "Sizing up Characters", "Pinpointing the Theme", and "Figuring the Philosophy", among others. This class develops college-prep level compositions and literary analysis skills. Movie sessions will be schedules and required as part of the class.
