Drafting and Design I-Studio

Class Meets: Thursdays, 12:00-1:30pm

This full-year course will introduce students to architectural drafting in the 1st semester and to architectural design in the 2nd semester. Students will study manual drafting tools and techniques, including lines, symbols, lettering, scale, and presentation drawings. Computer Aided Drafting will be discussed and compared on a limited basis. The 2nd semester will include site planning, design techniques, and elements of design. The 4th quarter will be a series of short design projects, including a scale.
